When Rudolf and Adi Dassler founded adidas in 1924 they couldn’t have imagined the impact their brand would have on the sporting landscape, and wider popular culture. The brand made history with the invention of screw-in studs in 1954, which would go on to inform a culture of forward-thinking, cutting-edge technical design. This has continued into the modern day with their latest innovations sitting well with classics such as NMD, Ultraboost and Stan Smith.
