Salomon XT-6

The inclusion of GORE-TEX technology ensures that the shoe is completely waterproof, keeping feet dry without sacrificing breathability. This feature is critical for maintaining comfort during wet conditions and crossing water obstacles.

Salomon’s Agile Chassis™ System provides stability and cushioning, enhancing motion control and energy management for a more efficient stride. This system is paired with an EVA midsole that absorbs shock and reduces impact on rough surfaces.

The XT-6 GTX features a Contagrip® MA outsole that is built for the widest variety of surfaces. It balances both the geometry and the rubber compound to deliver confidence on wet, dry, hard, or loose surfaces, offering long-term durability.

The shoe uses Salomon’s Quicklace™ system, which allows for a secure and customized fit with a single pull. This makes the shoe easy to put on and take off, a convenient feature on the trails.

The insole combines a specific Ortholite® foam and an EVA heel cup. Ortholite® foam creates a cooler, drier, healthier, and more cushioned environment under the foot. This system cannot break down or lose effectiveness over time.

The use of seamless materials reduces the potential for irritation and friction caused by traditional stitches and seams, enhancing overall comfort during extended wear.

While primarily designed for trail running, the Salomon XT-6 GTX’s style and functionality extend its use to urban environments, where its technical features provide comfort and support on hard concrete surfaces.
