The Nike LD-1000 was first released in 1977, but was recalled due to safety concerns because of the extremely flared heel. The shoe faded into the background for decades - but it was not forgotten. Now the wait is over. The striking, flared heel is celebrating its long-awaited comeback. This edition of the popular shoe comes in the colors Sesame and Team Gold with Swoosh logos in Sail and a touch of Cosmic Clay on the insole. The popular old-school look is created using genuine leather and synthetic leather, airy textiles and the outsole with waffle tread.
